The Wizards return to the one day arena needing a win to get their season back on track. It won't be an easy task for the bottom of the table Wizards taking on the top of the table Kings. carn tigez has been the form batsman of the competition with the most runs, highest average and the highest strike rate. Stopping him will be the key in the Wizards are going to win this match.

Kings in a canter.

More Rasta magic to flow from the bat of carn tigez - has been in sensational OD form.

I think we will win! :)

But if the wizards are 3/2 then we should be 2/3 not 2/5 .. so not going to put my money in at those odds!

Re: One Dayers Round 10: Western Wizards v Kingston Kings @ W.W.O

Don't bet with these odds. Very difficult to get the Kings' investors interested. The bookie may be in strife.
Okay Kings, our flexibility has been suitably demonstrated. Lets smash these punks.

So for example if the Wizards were 5/2 then the Kings should be 2/5?

For equity with the bookies having no take, then that's exactly right!

In an equity situation you can wager on both and break even, so at 5/2 you put $100 on the win and get a potential return of $350, and putting $250 on at 2/5 you would get $350 back, meaning a total outlay of $350 and a guaranteed return of $350 either way.

A slight bookie edge is fine, but when you only offer 3/2 against 2/5 its a massive bookie take, worse than the real TAB's!

But it's Jolldo's turn for the beer, so he needs to make a few more bucks :p
