Oz/Kiwi Sport

Yeah, both of them are top all-rounders mate... an amazing run of form Green is in with the bat, that's a truckload of runs he's scored in a pretty short period of time, as you say with the red hot form he's in at the moment you want to be playing tests now, that's ridiculous that you don't play a test until November.

He may be a once in a generation player by mustn't get too carried away as he is yet to score a Test ton. Will see if I can find some footage for you of his 250 if interested.
What is the BCs next match mate. They must be feeling good about their chances of rolling India for the WTC trophy. What side do you want the selectors to pick.

Yeah, when it gets to test level a lot of it is about having a very tough mental attitude... Green & Jamo still have a fair bit to prove at that level.
That would be great Craig if you could post a clip of Green scoring that huge score of 250.

Next up we play 3 ODI's & 3 20/20's in NZ, first game starts on the 20th March in Otago, South Island - then we go to England & play 2 tests against them... 1st Test starting on 2nd June.

Reckon our players will be feeling pretty confident going into the WTC final Craig against India - just wish we were playing against your blokes instead, would've been very cool to have an Australasian final.
Would like to see Conway bat in the top 6 in the final, his concentration & composure is excellent... hope Ferguson will be fit by then, need that 150 plus bowler in the squad.

Most definitely Pete. When it all boils down we'd be joining your blokes in the final if it wasn't for the four WTC points we lost for a slow over rate in one India Test. What a load of crap is that. Four miserable point for something so petty that you are deprived of something so prestigious. I can understand not making the final due to actual losses or for not playing up to standard.. but for that piddling reason.. senseless. Well at least our Kiwi cuzzies are there for Australasia.

How is Conway's technique. He comes across as a white baller slugger to me. But only my opinion as I have not seen his FC record. Does he also bowl.. having an all rounder at #6 may be a good thing after your solid middle order. What about Milne. He has been in our BBL and went ok. Yes as you say having an express man in Pom conditions is a plus. Aces up the sleeve tho are no doubt your swing pair Boult and Southee. Can see both having big games. I am tipping the BCs to roll both the Pommies then India to take out the WTC title.

Craig, you were robbed with the mongrels taking those 4 points off you - as you say if it was down to losses you can understand it, but to be pinged for such a very minor thing is pathetic, especially in a really important comp... we will be trying to win the final for Australasia mate 👍

Conway has excellent technique, he doesn't bowl though - in fact the last 3 years in a row he's been the top run scorer in our red ball comp the Plunket Shield, so far his highest score is 327no, which he scored last year, that shows how good his composure & concentration is... Conway is only a little slim bloke, doesn't have the explosive power of batsmen like Guppy, Neesham or his opening partner for Wgtn Allen, has good balance at the crease & his footwork & timing is so good his shots look really effortless, for a little fella can hit the ball a pretty long way.

Conway sounds impressive mate. 327 wow. and leading Plunket Shield batsmen three years running. So with him at the vital #6 the BCs dont need a licorice all sorts bloke instead. As the tour nears keep posting BCs stuff here so I can follow the Tests with you.

We also lost points from the abandoned Saffer tour. Both teams shudda been compensated in some way as it was a health decision for us to pull the plug.

This was Greens century Pete. The double is also on this clip. Just click.

Superb innings by Green Craig... some of his drives along the deck were very stylish & brilliantly timed, really impressive mate.

Yeah, that's a really top effort by Conway in our domestic red ball cricket... don't know what spot they'll slot him into, but he needs to be somewhere in the top 6... the bloke is so calm under pressure & always looking to tick the score over, he'd be a huge asset in our test team mate.
Will definitely keep putting in updates of the tour.

A strong squad Pete even without Williamson. Allen's time will come. Conway is also one of yours?

Yeah, pretty strong squad Craig - heard Josh Philippe has made himself unavailable for his IPL team & Allen is going to be his replacement... disappointed, Allen would've got much more value from playing in this home series rather than playing in that IPL manufactured circus crap.

Pleased for Philippe for the same reason Pete. The West Aussie kid wants to play as much domestic red ball cricket as possible to force his way back into the Warriors first X1.

Pete afraid Philippe will be pigeonholed in white ball and be given very little red ball. Personally he has the ability for both formats. At least your local boy Allen is getting some form of international cricket.. albeit manufactured circus crap. Reputations are made in the IPL and BBL.
