. Yes, the German girl Ricarda Funk tried to do her best and wanted to go for gold again but missed a goal and finished on the 11th place. She said she had decided to take high risks and failed. She wanted to try again.

As the 4x100m freestyle relay team were making their way off the pool deck in Paris, Bob Ballard said they were "finishing up", adding "you know what women are like... hanging around, doing their make up".

Footie commentators and analysts know exactly why GER was blown away by the US team: they didn't kick it like Beckham, they don't have enough Rugby-type Valkyries and 100m sprinters like Sophia Smith in the team and they are too bad at converting chances, a skill that can hardly be required through training.
