Politics boards should be consolidated

It's a pain in the ass to check all of them, there is not enough traffic to sustain 5-6 boards, and multiple forums for the same umbrella subject increases the likelihood of duplicate threads.

There will be some duplication of threads, it is true. To a large extent, though, it depends on what aspect of an issue you wish to discuss. For instance, with the Iraq war you have the option of discussing it as an American policy issue or as an issue for the Middle East region. Which board you post your thread on will partly determine the sort of responses you get.
