Poll: One-Day Points System

This will have to be quick, so we get it done before it matters. Luckily it doesn't affect the points to be handed out in the Lions/Figgies match that is already complete.

Up till now, the points system is a simple 4 for a win, 2 for a tie, 0 for a loss. I have been thinking about adding the extra bonus point for having Run Rate >1.25x the opponent's. Simple poll: stick with 4/0, or switch to 4+1/0. Cheers!

I'm a fan of the bonus point, I feel that if a team is tied at the end of the season on the same amount of points using a 4 point win system, if a certain team has played some exceptional cricket through the season and pulled off some very big wins, while the other team just goes about their business and gets the job done, the team should be rewarded for it's big wins, with a bonus point.

So in conclusion, if that makes sense I vote 4+1 point win system

Well, seems pretty unanimous thus far. Looks like the bonus point is IN! (pending a late comeback before the poll closes )
