Poster of the Month

Any suggestions on a "Poster of the Month" idea where a poster gets the title placed underneath their name on the side next to their posts, or similar.

Ideas?

Most posts per months or something to do with quality (so people like me don't post 400 posts of crap and 100 posts of half-quality )?

The post I'd rate as the one that has hit me as best was one by eddiesmith actually, his post here: http://www.bigcricket.com/forum/t75221-2/ was quite exceptional, very opinionised, but you have to be. Very well constructed.

Eddiesmith can be decent when he actually wants to be. Unfortunately, most of the time he prefers to stir the pot, not that I'm against that.

Any ideas on the actual topic?

Where it says 'full-time resident' under your name on the side it could be replaced with 'Poster of the Month' instead, give people something to work towards if they post well, eliminate some of the crap talk.

If it says poster of the month surely all-star still sounds better? Doesn't that need to be changed to biggest crap talker?

Just an award given out once a month for whoever is voted to have posted the best around the forum for that period of time. The next month someone else is awarded it.

All star is given for people with over 3000 posts, just that it happens only two people above 3000 aren't mods, only one that is active is me.

This is a fairly young forum, most other forums you see many people with 10000+ posts. There will be a lot more 'All Stars' very soon.
