Queen Victoria Cup Awards Banquet

Hello everyone, and welcome one last time from Toronto for the Awards Banquet of the inaugural Queen Victoria Cup. It's been a great tournament capped off by a spectacular last-over victory in the finals! Tonight we will hand out awards for various statistical leaders in this tournament. So here are the winners!

Top Run Scorer - Will_85 (FIG) with 269 runs
Top Wicket Taker - Warney and fred (both MAG) with 7 wickets apiece
The Shahid Afridi Strike Rate Award - Bennycoff (FIG) at 159.38
Lowest Economy Rate - Donk (FIG) with 4.52

As we can see, the Figjams dominated the tournament, and congratulations to them on winning the inaugural Queen Victoria Cup. Now it's off to the regular season. Until next year, good evening from Toronto.

Some good batting by Dirk, OHB and Kerr.

Bowling wasn't too crash hot with the exception of Bowling Shane.

Seems to be a pattern in the list of stats there. There are few people that have carried their sides while the others have struggled.

Looking forward to the season proper though. I am confident we can improve on our performances last season.

I only came 'cos it had banquet in the name and well, the banquet sucked!

Tell the caterers to lift their game or legends of the game such as yours truely might just snub the event for McDonalds.

(And yes McDonalds does sponsor me:D )
