RIDDLES/BRAIN TEASERS 2

Is it to do with Technology?

Is it the Internet?

A book shelf?

A concertina folder for paper documents ?

Ah, thanks Craig. I did find it hard so nice to finally get it. 😁
Stuck at times it floated in my mind and I thought of possibles. A shot gun approach even.
Ah, A Library! Easy to see now in hindsight. Thomas would have got it before me I bet.

Throw away the outside and cook the inside, then eat the outside and throw away the inside. What is it?

What is always in front of you, but can’t be seen?

When you stop to look, you can always see me. But if you try to touch me, you can never feel me. Although you walk towards me, I remain the same distance from you. What am I?

A man goes out for a walk during a storm with nothing to protect him from the rain. He doesn’t have a hat, a hood or an umbrella. But by the end of his walk, there isn’t a single wet hair on his head. Why?

No idea yet. Is this a dinkum food or a play on words?
You know I prefer numbers to words.

The Future? A tax bill?

A mirror?

He was walking around inside a building, like a big shopping centre. Or on a walking machine whilst watching Telly like I did. A Gym?

A Roast Chook from Coles in a roasting bag.
Throw away the bag after the cooking of what's inside it, namely the hot Chook.
Cut away the juicy roasted flesh to eat leaving the inside of that, namely the Chook's carcass to throw away. Simple.

Still thinking... My shadow?

Was it a Dust storm?? An Electrical storm? A Financial storm? A Meteor storm? 😅🌩🌪

Edward De Bono, an early proponent of Lateral thinking, said something like "don't assume restraints to problems unless they're specifically stated."
Latitude.... indeed.

Good guesses. Mate the man is totally bald, a chrome dome.

When you look into theses riddles you can see how uncomplicated the answers are when you think outside the box.

For sure but word puzzles often tax me. I'd play scrabble well only from a numerical scoring perspective that annoyed my dear old mother in law.
A deserving Matriarch I admired.
For over a decade I was a volunteer companion for an old friend with brain damage and having coffees at a big local cafe he'd do the crosswords with little help from me. His long term memory was excellent.

As you know I love my story telling and through that, and time for forums my word smithing has greatly improved, I thunked. 😉

I really enjoyed our Tall Tales.

Fancy a dystopian 2050 world?

I better with a third storyteller.
Fair enough Craig. Good memories though of our adventures.

An old mate studied a BA and a lecturer once asked

"Why is a mouse when it spins?"

It was a weird question looking at language structures, I think?
It went over my head, especially the answer:

"The higher the fewer!"

To me it was ineffable. Still No idea.
