OK, so it's pretty simple, just nominate a person of any sport, who is either great at it, or has shone some admirable quality to a great extent. Then maybe get a vote going, but I', just interested in who you guys would pick and for what reason,
My nominations are:
- James Hird - Ex-Captain of Essendon, Brownlow medalist, inspirational player, inspirational talker, extremely smart guy, changed the game of AFL through his determination and sheer guts, extremely persistent, really nice guy, overcame so many injuries that other players would of retired on. Absolute legend.
- Adam Ramanauskas - This bloke is an inspiration. Once again from Essendon, was regarded as a very good player, until he got diagnosed with neck cancer or some cancer around there. Then he got through it, and then, he got diagnosed with it again. But despite it all, he came back and played footy again. Made his comeback game last year, and now is showing glimpses of how good he used to be.

Just to let you know, he's usually a backman so that miss was totally understandable
It may not seem much to you, but over here, we haven't seen him play in ages and now for him to be playing at this level again, is just sooo amazing. I've seen people torn apart by cancer, and what this guy has done is such an inspiration.
