Season 5 Draft Declarations

We are into the off-season at this point, heading towards Season 5 of the BCFCL. We had some interest from new players a little bit ago, and hopefully we can get some new people involved! SO tell your friends, tell your brother, tell your mom - SIGN UP HERE! Everyone can do some advertising on other parts of the board, on other boards, and in real life too so we can make the BCFCL a bigger and better place. Wouldn't it be amazing if we could have teams with people fighting for spots in the XI?!?!? If maybe, just maybe, we would have to expand the league? I think it would be.

These are the new players that have signed up so far. Some of you will need to choose what player type you want to be and what you bat/bowl etc. Still need a lot more interest if we are to get this thing back on track.

I think we are rushing into season five a bit, we need to get more posting players to sign up.

What if, you use "famous and infamous" to fill in the slots? Cartoon characters, literary figures, prime ministers, generals, etc. BTW, I fancy myself more of the bowler type, I remember the one year I played little league baseball I never got a single hit. I only connected with the ball once, and it was an infield pop up.

I agree with your thoughts Diamond Joe, I'd been thinking a similar thing myself. We will get rid of all non-posting players, fill in rosters with 'characters'. Then as soon as a new player shows up, they can quickly be stuck in replacing one of the 'characters'.
