That would only reduce the standard of the competition. We can't have it ending up like the County system.

The six team system is working well at the moment.

If anything they should maybe look at getting in a couple of sides from NZ.

Would be a win win situation for both NZ Cricket and Cricket Australia.

Final between Victoria and Queensland finished in a draw. Victoria won the Shield as they finished on top of the ladder at the end of the home and away season.
