Wickets are falling faster than I can type(well not literally because I can type pretty fast). It looks like the Indian innings will be over before lunch. If India don't perform similarly well with the ball then Kumble is going to get a lot of flak for electing to bat first.

This is a pathetic collapse by India. They are 8 down after just 15 overs. Its the breaking news on every news channel lol. I hope tailenders provide some entertainment now but they'll probably get out for ducks too.
Either the pitch is over friendly to the bowlers or India have forgotten how to play because this is the same team that beat Australia at the WACA. Or maybe this bowling lineup is just better than Australia's. Full credit to South Africa for bowling well. But I'll reserve my judgement until India bowls.

India would gladly take 100 now. At the moment, it seems like a distant dream. But for that to happen, Pathan needs to keep RP away from the strike instead of exposing him to Steyn and Morkel.

Another down. India have passed their lowest score at home so at least this wont break any humiliating records. I think India doesnt stand any chance in this test now. If Ishant was in the team we would stand a better chance but now I am not so sure. One thing I am sure about is that this match will certainly produce a result.

As I accurately predicted 6 wickets ago, the Indian innings has finished before lunch. Steyn picks up a well deserved five-for. The pitch is certainly helping the bowlers and India managed to last just 20 overs on this it compared to 155 overs they batted for in the previous match.
They will have to bowl extremely well to come back into this match.

I'm getting the bad feeling that South Africa will make 400 now and India will lose by the third day. Though I think even 200 runs would be more than enough.

What a total flop batting performance today. It is shameful to get all out in just 20 overs. I am very disappointed today. I think there is only one result now. India have lost the game only after the first session. Bad decision to bat first :mad:

South Africans have done a great job until now. They have been scoring at a pretty fast rate and have almost surpassed India's score without loss of any wickets. I was expecting something better from Indians in the field but they have been completely dominated.
RP Singh should be taken out of the attack, he has been terribly expensive.

India couldnt get a single good partnership and South Africa made more than India's score with the first partnership itself. What rubbish cricket India are playing? They look like bunch of jokers.

oh dear what has happened. this is a shameful performance by the indian team. awful team selection(well they didnt have much choice) and awful decision at the toss. are they school boys? they couldnt even last for 20 overs. rp has to be dropped he has become worthless.

Indian bowling lineup for this match sucks. Only Jumbo is the world class bowler we have. Pathan is not as dangerous as he was before. Perhaps he should have opened the bowling. RP Singh and Sreesanth shouldn't be in the team. They have to improve a lot.

mckenzie out just on the stroke of tea but india will need to take a lot more wickets to come back in the game. someone has to get a hattrick or something. only a miracle can save india.

Pity that Mckenzie couldn't carry on beyond tea. Smith and Mckenzie did well to weather the storm. Hopefully Kallis can score some runs here. If he does, India might be in the field quite a while as Kallis and Amla have a habit of producing huge partnerships.

I'm sure India will be in the field for long. I think South Africa would bat the whole day today and tomorrow to bat India out of the game. Then Indian batsmen under immense pressure will collapse in a similar humiliating way.

south africa are slowly increasing their lead. we need a few more quick wickets to come back in the game.

South Africa have ended the first day on top. India will be aiming to get one or 2 quick wickets in the morning so that they'll be into the tail. They'll be hoping to keep the scoring rate down as much as possible so that the lead doesn't get too big. SA did it in the first test after Sehwag's epic so India can take heart from that.
