Atm, the Cheetah's have only 2 people that are interested in continuing with the competition. There were 4 earlier but somehow 2 of them disagreed so they're only 2. Making a joint club therefore seems a bit odd suggestion atm.

If I am correct, there were at least 4, and 2 said they would go because the club was being culled. Seems to me it was not done in a very pleasant way. I would think all four would be available in a merged team, as they wanted to play together. On the other hand the Kings have been hopeless at posting. Yes there are a few who post, but most do it very occasionally.

Another 'odd' suggestion is a 5 team competition with a max 12 or 13 player squad. Allow player type changes for each competition.
I know that teams that only use 12 players keep the players and get good posters. Nothing worse than sitting games out.

And 4 x 15 = 5 x 12

I'll look into the first one, but the second one is a no no. We're already very complicated with things and don't want to complicate any more.

It simplifies, because from an administration point of view fewer player in a team mean less time changing them around. Once the squads are set, then it is a dream.

Thank you for the suggestion Frodo, we shall go with it. :) I'll announce the team name tomorrow, but as it stands, both teams will be merged, i.e CC and KK. :)

All interested in captaining to please send me a PM, thanks.

Good suggestion, merge CC and KK and get rid of Geelong. That would leave us with four teams.

Anyone from Geelong who wants to keep playing are welcome to join another club.

Anyways, I guess CK or KC names don't really make much sense, so we're going in for a new name and looking at Monday as an approximate timeframe for our 1'st match of the season. Here are some name suggestions, please don't suggest anymore and pick one from these :p Not necessarily a voting, but I'd be inclined to see majority in choices nevertheless.

Singapore Stallions
Texas Tigers
HongKong Hyenas :)p)
London Lions
Paris Pearls

I know they aren't the best, but then one of them ought to suit everyone! :)
