Test Match Cricket for Pocket PC and Palm Units
Test Match Cricket
The trial version allows for 5 full matches. I am trying it out right now and so far so good. It has a neat edit feature where you can make fantasy teams (there are several you can download: star trek, footballers, golfers, rugby stars), make an all star team, just goof around and enter your buddies names. The guy has a special where it is half price during the World Cup. One feature I really like is control during batting. You can set it where you are very aggressive or step back and just defend the wickets. It has a prompt that will ask you if you will run or not. It also keeps a "all time records", but it only keeps the current record. I have no affiliation with this individual, but I will say he is very helpful and replies to queries about the game within 12-18 hours, at least that is the experience I have had.
This is from the game page:
Archive of 10 international test match teams.
Career statistics on 640 players from 1876 to 2006.
Add your own custom teams.
Realistic weather, ball and pitch conditions.
Select from 56 grounds around the world
Take on the machine in Human versus Palm mode.
Sit back and watch the battle ensue in Palm versus Palm mode.
Archive of test matches.
Player rating system.
Full test matches: 2 innings, 5 day games.
Control batting and bowling aggression.
Man of the match.
So far I have found the claims to be true. The game is pretty addictive in the begining, but after three matches, it is pretty time consuming, especially if you set the batting/ running to full control.
