Police in southern India are hunting for two men who attacked a Hindu holy man, cut off his right leg and then made off with it.

The 80-year-old holy man, Yanadi Kondaiah, claimed to have healing powers in the leg

Eh!? What is the world coming to! Poor guy he's 80 aswell just imagine the scene 'Take the TV and go!','No we're under strict instructions to take the leg...' 'Ok then...'

If you read the story a bit more the old guy brought it on himself to some extent by boasting about the healing power of the leg.

Still though not a nice thing to go through and they didn't exactly make a good job of the amputation!

I wonder how they managed to cut the leg off... Must of held him down or something.

that is a funny story but so foolish.....how can a leg have some special powers....the old man and thief believed in superstitions....the man had to suffer this only because of his fault.

Those people must be very cruel. Poor guy was so old and they cut off his leg.
