Time travel (serious topic

Did you know that you cannot change the past nor the future nor the present because it has already happened.
If i went back in time to change something for example... i wanted to stop my parents conceiving me [for some odd reason] It would be impossible because I already know that no matter what I do they have already concieved me in the present. So I cant change anything.
One thign you can do is fufil tasks to stop things happening.
For example I only have one sibling, but I could have been the reason that my parents did not have another child. In the futur i may go back into time to stop tem having another child. It changes nothing but I fufil the task that I have done. How would i know that i had to do it? Easy, I send me some sort of message to myself so that I am triggered to go back and make it happen.
Which bring me to....
The best way to get things.
The best way to get possesions is for you to give them to yourself. If my futurself comes and give me the deed to a huge mansion somewhere then thats awsome. But therefore sometime in the future I would have to go back to the past and give it to myself. And how would my future slef have got that? Easy, it was given to him by his future self when he was young.

Its simple really but hard to explain.
