Trion-Z 'Magic' Bands

Have seen a few news articles floating around which mention that the likes of James Anderson and Stuart Broad have using Trion-Z 'Magic' bands and they have helped in their recent good performances.

The makers of the bands, claim that due to the use of incredibly high-powered magnets, the bracelets are medically proven to increase blood flow around the body, improving concentration levels and rates of cell-regeneration.

England bowler James Anderson said: “I have found great benefit during recent tests. These bands made me feel energised and I was able to cope better with the long training sessions."

So do you lot think? A gimmick or something that could work?

Re: Trion-Z 'Magic' Bands

It 'could' work, but I would like to read more about the science involved, tbh. I am open about those sort of projects and fully believed that any miniscule improvement can be amplified by the brain realising that the product works.

Re: Trion-Z 'Magic' Bands

Their site has a lot of customer feed back but like you I'd like to see the science involved.

Then again if they do only work through suggestion, £18 isn't a massive amount to lose.

Re: Trion-Z 'Magic' Bands

My dad gave me an interesting stat the other day. All new medicines are trialed yeh, and they have to trial them by also giving the patients just plain water, and I can't remember the percentage but it was something like, umm, I dunno, pretty high that the patients on the water do as good as the ones on the medicine.

Re: Trion-Z 'Magic' Bands

There is always the placebo effect but people who trial new medicines are well aware of it.

These bands look ok and if they work for you then great but as others have said we need the science!

Re: Trion-Z 'Magic' Bands

I hate to disappoint but there is little science behind these bands. However, they hit the States by storm a couple of years ago... with the golfers who gave such rave reviews ;)

Basically, our bodies absorb Positive Ions from mobile phones, electrical wiring, electronic equipment and all the machines we cannot do without in the 21st Century. Exposure to UV Rays also increases the levels of Positive Ions in out bodies. All this is associated with fatigue, lack of concentration, muscle and joint aches and nausea feelings.

If you live in the wild; surrounded by plants, waterfalls, rain storms and forests you are surrounded by Minus Ions; this is where you get the huge buzz of The Great Outdoors from :D These Ions are little found these days because of the last paragraph.

Trion-Z’s Minus Ion properties [along with twin 1,000 Gauss therapeutic magnets] counteract the Positive Ions created by modern technology, daily stress, and physical activity. They come in bracelets and/or necklesses.

Do you think they will give me a commission?

Re: Trion-Z 'Magic' Bands

Well, that depends :D

The Stayers will not make you great cricketers per se but, in addition to the magnets, will help to eliminate most of the lethargy, enabling you to concentrate more and have more energy to maximise and increase training sessions, which will make you better cricketers.

Personally, I would like to see research involving exams; how they help with study, revision and results.

Re: Trion-Z 'Magic' Bands

I suppose that there is no harm in trying them, if they make you feel better then great, if not then very little lost.

Re: Trion-Z 'Magic' Bands

I have one, more through curiosity when i saw them for sale over thinking they work. Generally i don't see how they work, and don't really feel any effect, any major one anyways. Maybe it does, who knows?

Re: Trion-Z 'Magic' Bands

Out of curiosity:

Do you wear it 24/7?
How long have you been wearing it?

Perhaps we should hold our own 'scientific' [ ;)] study. We will have to work out some kind of test for people to carry out before wearing them and then have them repeat the test after wearing them constantly for, say, four weeks.

I'll let you know when my box arrives ;)

Re: Trion-Z 'Magic' Bands

hmm, so sitting revising at a desk with a computer on it (like I've been doing for the last few months) is bad for concentration??

Re: Trion-Z 'Magic' Bands

I wear it 24/7 on my left wrist. I've been wearing it for atleast 2 months now and any scientific study i'd participate in

Re: Trion-Z 'Magic' Bands

Where can I get one, how much does it cost?

Edit: OK they cost around 20 bucks. Does anyone know where I can get one in Melbourne?

Perhaps they do not work if you practice the Dark Arts

Ok then that's it! I'm leavin'!! I know its hard givin' up the computer - but I have to! ::)

Or maybe I'll just reduce the time I spend on it (from 6 hrs to 4 would do, right?).

Anyway, I don't spend that much - but I can't find a wild place around here..........

Re: Trion-Z 'Magic' Bands

I emailed the site and found out that there is...
