St andrews man long time no word, what happened some know who you are?????? talk to you soon haha

Re: Western Suburbs Churches Cricket Association

if anyone thinks that the comp wont get up for turf this year i would be very interested as to why. I don't think that grounds will be an issue, just more Sunday fixtures.

Re: Western Suburbs Churches Cricket Association

we have started trainning with only members from last year on board so far. As for rumors "never listen".

1short Agree with you 100%. Caroline Springs, Melton Sth and Altona Sports should be told they are plying turf this season.

Regardless if these teams are made to play turf I have it on good authority that the Roosters can still keep both sides in and I know that they wont to.

what, do roosters enjoy their 2nd side getting smashed just about every game? or their 2's making their 1s look like fools when they beat them. that was one of the funnyest things i have ever herd. anyway, who do you play for tram. you said your training has started with no new recruits. i think all teams will be in the same boat, its hard getting players to join the churches. also i hear a little whisper that st johns are loosing upto 5 turf players from last season. can anyone from st johns confirm this???

That would be shattering for the club as the A grade got smashed which indicates not much to come up. Who have you heard of leaving 1short?

Well I confess. I play for the roosters. Last year we had five or six players that had never played turf and I believe that can only make our club stronger. The club is praying for rain so we can get a turf wicket in at our home ground. With such a shortage of turf grounds we really think that council will come on board. It's a good thing that the seconds beat the firsts it shows how full of passion our club is. Well done to the seconds and this year they will push more teams to the same fate.

i hear the same about your ground aswell. no new turf wickets untill water restrictions are over. unfortunately i cant see that happening for some years yet.

no new faces at trainng, thats suprising. i heard your new coach smith had promised to bring some players with him. upto 10 i was told and as many as 5 would be 1st team players. whats happened there???

1 short, dont forget we made the gf last season, so we dont need new players. its only early too so we still might get some players down at the club and then you all will be concerned. i can feel a premiership at the roosters this season.

Roosters won't even make the final 4, St Andrews will develop more than them this year and take 4th spot the other sides in the finals will be St Johns, Melton Centrals and Williamstown Congs.

St. Andrews will push higher up the ladder this season.

I heard a rumour that Michael O'Toole was back at the club, and has brought a few players with him. Any truth to that?

Well that is something that will been seen very soon. To all the other people posting things about how our club went about their appointment of Chris to replace Russell please note that not long after christmas Russell informed the club that he had had enough of coaching and was very happy justto play cricket at the club this season under who ever the club appointed. Now that all the remures have been put to bed let us all enjoy talking about this season which will be very interesting with new teams coming in. :D:D

i think people are more shocked at WHO was appointed more so than how he was appointed. what i know about him is he is selfish, loud, rude, abusive aggressive and has no respect for umpires and opposition. personally i thought roosters needed a leader who was going to take the club to the next level, not just on the field but more so off the ground. i think your club is screaming out for some discipline and chris is not the person for the job.
