what did you try and do and was you using photoshop?
1. duplicate the image making 2 layers.
2. Using the new layer you the select tool
3. Choose colour range and the tool comes up to select the fence colour
4. Select the most predominant brown at about 40% and the areas that have been selected become visible as dotted lines.
5. Use the fill command and fill with white from the drop down box.
6. Repeat using the sequence from stage four gradually choosing all the browns - try changing the %.
7. If that then selects other parts of the image - rub them away from your top layer using the eraser and then flatten the layers.
I'll be honest in that I was being really lazy and just used the paint tool. It works ok on the fence but I got carried away and started messing around.
That looks nice - you should see the ground I play on - it's not like that from any angle - we have Chav's on off road bikes riding across and round it while we're playing with Rottweillers and Pit Bulls chasing after the bikes. 13 year old girls with all their children walk across the middle of the pitch as well when we're playing - yeah it's nothing like yours.
Maybe I'll start a thread in the summer once we start playing called best and worst looking pitches?
we are lucky in the fact we are hidden away in a village. had we been nearer the town i'm sure we would suffer from the same problem. We have played at some shocking grounds over the last two seasons... and i hate the odd astro turf ground. Luckily the Saracens league has some standards.
heres another view from the Pavillion taken on the same day
