Rumour doing the rounds is that the VTCA are going to set up 2 Western Divisions in addition to North A and B if the MMVCA join, which they say is close to happening. Will any WDCA Clubs put up their hands to join or get left behind in the back water? Couple may have already done so HHMMM !!

Sounds interesting, but i think you need plenty of money to be competitive at the top level, most clubs wouldnt have the funds otherwise they probly would already be there. just an opinion ;)

It's no rumour, it's fact. VTCA are having a Northwest grade for the MMVCA sides & they will set up a Western grade for our sides. They showed the gradings to our clubs last year when they wanted us to take all our turf sides over.At the last comp meeting our clubs said that they weren't interested in meeting VTCA to cross over but there are rumours going around that 2 clubs are thinking about it.

their clubs would make the vtca a laughing stock!!!! we all know they want the willy comp......i cant see it happening though!!!!

Why do all the other people from the other leagues keep coming on here telling us we are merging with vtca. I'm pretty sure we have grown bigger and bigger ever year, jealous I guess

Sure, the comp's got more sides, but the're not on turf. We're only as strong as our A grade & that's only 8 teams, down from 10 the year before. It's not that long ago it used to be 12. If a club or two did leave from A1 who would replace them? ANA or Deer Park or Hoppers Club? None of them are anywhere near good enough from what I saw in the finals.

Apart from gu,west & us, i couldnt see any other team in A1 surviving in the vtca. It would be in there best interests to stay in local comp. Wyndhamvale have the numbers but depth is a problem, Colts wouldnt last 2 years, Pt Cook maybe in 5-10 years will be ok &Gellibrand there are too many reasons for them!!!

Sounds like your a nets bowler champ.:eek: You keep spruikin about getin blokes in the nets and hitting them in the head, do it in a game ya nuffo. Games arent won in the nets.

the only way you'd get it up there would be if you hit the edge of the concrete.......(in your grouse nets)
