P.Semmens will be hinderance rather than a help,he's a red light+will probably disrupt their team with his carry on???? Troy though is a gun bowler, probably would be in top 3 or 4 bowlers in the A-Turf 4 sure!!!!!!
I liked playing against the taller one, you'd know when the ball was a rubbish one and you could spank it because he'd curse out loud before the ball bounced:D. Troy is alright and having not ever actually played A-Turf I can't REALLY judge but I wouldn't have thought he was that high, drifter down leg side a fair bit against us (still managed a 7fa in the 2nd dig though).

Both Harb & Walshy made ducks against us so i didn't get a chance to see much of them.

you'd easily have at least 1 from the vales. and I doubt a few of those you've mentioned would make the best 12

As stated in my post i have not seen W'vale play this year but looking where they sit on the ladder they obviously have had plenty of players that have performed. I have picked the 12 on players that have performed in games i have seen.

With the card system in place, ld be worried going into finals with P Semmens, as the bloke is easy to wind up. Bowls some heat though but short and only have faced the bloke on matts wheres theres good carry through.

Did West Newport set a record for sundries in a A Turf one day game on Saturday 54 sundries ( Including 44 wides ) ? We were lucky to win in the end.

Yeah he did get 7 wickets and despite the pitch being horrible most of them were good balls. He only took 1 I think in the first innings but as I said to a few teammates I think he helped the bloke up the other end take a few as at some points we were almost conceded to not scoring off Semmens and so the other bloke drew the rash shots. Not intending to 'bag' him, he would easily be the best bowler we've faced in B-Turf this year but judging on other people faced from my own club in the nets or watching A-Turf games when we've finished I just wouldn't have thought he'd be in the top 5 or so bowlers.

They shared them around there was 6 lots of 5 wides all down the leg side.It does help if your wicket keeper does move his feet and only dives for leg side balls and you don't have a fine leg in place for a one day game. We should have bowled ANA out for about 90.You might have guested Chicken did not keep as he wold have stopped them all.

Mate,I played against Troy twice last year+ I played a-turf for years(not any more though)+he would easily make the top 5.He knows where 2 bowl it+what 2 do with it!!!Good bowlers help other bowlers get wickets dont they???Didnt he get 1/10 off 10overs in 1st dig?????Then 7fa in the 2nd dig??? There not bad figures!!!!!!

mate, I'm not saying he's a rubbish bowler, he is very good. What I am saying is I wouldn't have thought (and I even acknowledged the fact that I havn't played A-Turf and so may not be the best judge) that he was in the top 5 A-Turf bowlers. Just my opinion from what I have seen. I think we're arguing on a point neither of us can prove considering mainly my limited exposure to A-Turf bowlers. I have acknowledged it was his good bowling which helped get his teammates wickets. I don't get why you think I don't rate him from what I've said?
