World Cup 2007 Groups/Fixtures
This is the schedule for the World Cup in 2007 to be held in West Indies. The format starts with a few warm-up games before the opening ceremoney and the Group stage of the tournament.
2007 World Cup Groups
The group stage will be held on 4 different islands in the region. Group "A" matches will take place on St. Kitts & Nevis. Group "B" matches will be held on Trinidad & Tobago. Group "C" games will be played on Saint Lucia with Group "D" games held on Jamaica.
Each country will play two warm-up games before the tournament. No team will play another team from their own group.
Warm-up Matches
The Opening Ceremony will then take place on March 11, with the Group stage of the tournament kicking off on March 13.
Group Stage
The top two teams from each group will then play off in the "Super 8" stage of the tournament.
Second Stage - Super Eight
The top four ranked teams from here progress to the semi finals.
Semi Finals
The two winners of the semi finals will then play off in the Grand Final to see who will be crowned World Champion.
Grand Final
