I have heard a figure around that mark but he decided to stay at Camrea out of loyalty.
My understanding is that some big figures are already being thrown around for next year. Don’t believe everything you hear when it comes to dollars.

Just wanted to congratulate northern socials cricket club on another mammoth score this weekend. True grit and determination. Who would have thought they would be this dominant after dropping down a few grades. Truly remarkable. This premiership will be one for the ages

The biggest question for me would be, has/will the NMCA approach the DVCA for a merger? Cannot see CV stepping in and say “get it done” at this stage.
DVCA will only take 2 at this stage. If they took all 4 then 2 of the 4 would have to play their First XI in B Grade which is something the DVCA don’t want.

My thoughts on Jika Shield semi finals;
Tipping Keon Park & Old Ivanhoe.
However, If Donath can dismiss Max McLean before he gets to 20 then Donath could very well cause an upset.
Ryan is also a key with the bat for OI. Liam Andrews is a key bat for Donath so OI need to dismiss him early before he gets set.
Even though Parkers easily defeated Baseballers in Rd 14, the game could very well hinge on who performs the better out of the 2 Allrounders McSwain & Castrucci. Both coming off a huge last game with both Bat & Ball.
Parkers have reasonable depth in the bowling department despite Camrea making 336 last game.
Baseballers also go deep with the ball with Castrucci & Brincat the keys.
Good luck to the 4 teams.
