Keon Park v Baseballers (Baseballers with their gf experience but can’t wait to see Castrucci & Mcswain go at it! Definitely think it’s a battle of the all rounders will decide this)

Fiji v Olympic (I think Fiji have too many all round players fact some Fiji players are worried about White as they haven’t faced him, if he has a big day I think they can make an upset and their Kelly shield experience will help wouldn’t surprise me if Olympic win)

Socials v Fiji (socials for me huge ground at Barling will play into favour as Fiji like teams depend on hitting boundaries and not running strongly enough, socials have 4 players 400 runs and 6 players 15 plus wickets will be hard to stop, someone from Fiji will need to ton up to stand a chance in this one)

What's the issue with them wearing there whites to accept the medals. They were clearly the best side all year. And have already said they will be going up to Kelly next season according to there skipper on the cricket radio show last SaturdayHow’s the form on Preston YCW

I am thinking that the Jika Shield will be a close affair. If the side batting first can post a score around the 200 mark it may well be enough.
The 2 all rounders McSwain & Castrucci are no doubt keys. The week off for KP could be a disadvantage. However, a weeks rest for McSwain with the ball is a plus. Castrucci also had a rest with the ball with Day 2 last week washed out. Both should be fresh to deliver with the new ball.
Baseballers will have gained some batting confidence making 342. Captain Sortino getting his first 50 for the year. As Captain he needs to lead from the front and do it again. Walker & Volitakis getting 70's in the middle order can be dangerous. Brincat as the comp leading wicket taker will bowl a lot of overs. KP needs to treat him with respect and not get sucked in by the one he throws up wide of the off stump.
Merchant & White must hit the scoreboard for KP. Aftab is a far better bat than what he has delivered in his last 3 hands. As is Whitey who is coming off a pair of ducks in his last 2 hands. I am backing him to show his experience and get KP off to a good start. McSwain is in cracking form and expect him to deliver.
Should be a good crowd at Fairfield and l wish both teams the best.

Isn’t this what the 1 Day comp is set up for? Aging cricketers who wish to stay in the game and have some fun. The fact that they still have some ability cannot be held against them.
