JJ, I think you are aiming high for the boys from TL. May make the finals, tough gig coming in on turf for the first time and playing on different wickets right through the season (no chance of getting used to a home track), so maybe the first year in might be a good...

10 no, I would think the top 6 could hold their own in the VTCA, especially at the entry level. Honestly I think a club would progress by entering the VTCA if it suited the club and what it was trying to achieve. Clubs with a strong junior program would succeed...

Very long track, merger failed because it was thought they would provide no support to the strongest part of the comp- the turf comp.

Interesting to see where they will be playing, I wouldn't think it would be in the Moreland Council! Doubt it would have anything to do with the merger as the merger was catering for the hard wicket teams more so than turf, well in the short term anyway. I think they will...

I care to differ, it would be most unusual for at least one umpire not to officiate in a North B1 game. I think it has happened twice or maybe 3 times in 3 years that I know of.

Sean, I hear on the 'vine' that Mark Brown found his way into an interview qith you guys! Certainly wouldn't bet my house that he will do anything other than practise his interview technique:eek:
