It's tough but we'll bounce back. The southern hemisphere season is here and international games are fast approaching so that presents a good opportunity to get things going again. Hopefully that will attract a few people with some activity and there are other ways to get people here too. 👍
They've smacked India. The issue for me with India is their bowling which I feel lacks venom and that's certainly been the case here, they've been absolutely belted tonight.
Round Four of the Sheffield Shield began today with Victoria taking on Queensland at Allan Border Field. Victoria won the toss and elected to bat, a surprising decision given the greenish look of the wicket.
The decision to bat first was not a great one as Victoria were rolled for just 63...
England 0/98 from 10 overs, need 71 from the final 10 overs to win. India's sluggish start with the bat in the powerplay compared to England's very brisk powerplay is what is proving the difference here. England bowled well early while the Indian attack has offered too much width with the ball.
Pakistan proved to be a bit too good for New Zealand tonight in the first semi final. New Zealand made 4/152 from their 20 overs which looked a good 15-20 runs short. Pakistan scored 3/153 in reply aided by a fast start and chased the target down in 19.1 overs.
Pakistan move onto the final and...
Netherlands knocked over South Africa today which eliminated the Proteas from the tournament in what was a shock but very much a South Africa-esque defeat. Pakistan then defeated Bangladesh to quality for the semi finals while India thrashed Zimbabwe in the evening fixture.
The semi finals will...
Yes, relying on Sri Lanka to beat England.
Another poor innings from Smith again, shouldn't be anywhere near the T20I side. There will certainly be a few changes to the T20 side after the World Cup is over I would think.
Fantastic win by WA today, fell quite way behind early on day two, especially after being 6/29 in the first innings but skittled Queensland cheaply in the final session yesterday to setup a tricky but gettable chase. Things weren't looking too great at 4/24 this morning but great knocks from...
New Zealand finish with an easy win over Sri Lanka. New Zealand started poorly but recovered to post 7/167. Sri Lanka never got going in reply to be all out for 102.
Super Sunday follows tomorrow with three games, Bangladesh take on Zimbabwe in an early afternoon fixture in Brisbane. Things...
The issue I think is the games in places such as Melbourne and Hobart, the weather is too unreliable to have so many games there.
The tournament should have been hosted in February but that's an ICC decision. Australia hosts jointly with New Zealand in 2028, hopefully they'll have it in the...
Very good game last night. The low scoring T20's are the best ones I reckon, value on every run which makes for intriguing and thrilling cricket.
Today's games, well the less said the better. Not sure why Melbourne and Hobart are hosting so many matches given their climate, particularly at this...

Will be interesting to see how they go the rest of the tournament. Questions will be asked I would have thought if things don't go well this tournament.
Insane finish. Pakistan absolutely bottled it, should have had a fairly comfortable win which turned into a last ball defeat.
India shouldn't have got near victory needing 28 runs from eight balls but managed to get home thanks to some awful bowling.
I think some of the First Round matches have been quite good. The Associate sides have come a fair way, evidenced by some of the upsets we've seen so far in the tournament. Tomorrow's round of matches should be good with all teams on two points going into the last round of matches.
