Fair play. Cheating is probably a little excessive, but it's certainly outside the spirit of the game to decide one round out from finals that you want to start playing for 10 points before a ball is bowled. You've had 9 games to set yourselves up with a finals berth. Don't start bending the...

Devil's advocate, Sugar? If it went ahead, 2 teams are agreeing to play for 10 points before a ball is bowled. You do the math.

I think you can safely presume that sides aren't able to agree to those sort of terms with an umpire present. Unless teams deliberately threw their wicket away going after an outright, it's hard to imagine how a side (or sides) would be able to fix a result without the suspicions of an umpire...

Lazza, hearing stories of sides rolling over for booze is simply that....stories. This one is fact. Heard from the "mouth" of the captain who chose not to participate in cheating.

I'm not into snitching. Merely discussing the issue and hoping the offending party understands the implications of trying to fix a result.

A bit of information came across my desk this afternoon about one club approaching another on the possiblity of playing 4 innings over this round in order for one of the teams to get an outright result. My understanding is that either club would benefit from the result as it will increase their...

Unfortunately, Luke's making a name for himself with some of his decision making that some are deeming selfish. He's not the first at his age to do so and won't be the last. He'll work it out in his own time.

He's saying that WP spent up to win a flag only to miss out again cos you're back at Aspendale. Think he might even be suggesting you're playing there for nothing.

Bit Rich churned them out again today. As someone who's played Woolnough since it's inception, I'm pretty confident that's the highest individual score in the grade. Phenomenal year by the lad.

Is there a criteria for the Coach award? I don't think anyone would argue that the names thrown up aren't deserving, but let's get serious fellas. Lalor hasn't lost a game in any format. He doesn't even lose when tossing a coin for a spot on the 'G. Who cares what his list is? You still have to...

For those who haven't yet heard, Bentleigh Uniting are through to the T20 final after the match was deemed a wash out. Cricket Victoria rules stipulate that if a match iss deemed a wash out then the result is decided by a coin toss. Uniting got their money's worth flying Ash back for a coin toss!

Matthew Flynn From memory we only had a squad of 11 players with Barney having to bat on 1 leg in the final. Had he been fit enough to bowl (and bat) I think the result might've gone the other way. Well done to all involved in the 21s. A great result for the CMCA.
