    Group B World Cup

Wow big win for Ireland and with India's win (never mind the riots) Ireland might be a chance. I still think India will now loose it's wheels as the only game that mattered is over.

    Group A World Cup

Yes Afghanistan did well against India yesterday. You would be inclined to think India are in trouble with such a poor performance against a very minnow, minnow team.

India In Australia & One-day Tri Series (aus, Eng, Ind) 14/15

Easier said than done. We can only access ADSL here no ADSL2+ available and unlimited is non existent. OH to live in a major centre, the country gets rolled on internet and with the NBN getting rolled over to die we have little hope of ever getting a decent connection.

    Kevin Pietersen Sacked

MMM yes? the thing is the KP made an Asshole of himself with team and country. He clearly was not his former Captains fav. So yep, you can carry a Di&kh%$d in a T20 team (because T20 is a looser's game anyway) but never in a National team. He was a great player, but even great players need to be...

India In Australia & One-day Tri Series (aus, Eng, Ind) 14/15

God no internet for a week, kids blew the down loads on holidays and the dialup speed was pure pain. The series has been a bit slow, i really felt the India/England game at the WACA was let down by the pitch and the ground looks nothing short of sad. It really is not the WACA i remember when i...

Icc 2015 Cricket World Cup Squads, Ladders And Results Thread

Hi, well we should not forget that England are getting to play the Tri-series before the Cup so they will be well settled. Funny England and India here for a Tri-series when we have the world cup. Call me cynical but i don't think that was any coincidence.

To be honest some of the minow games look interesting. we never see these teams and they often surprise at a World Cup

Yes it does not quite mark up after 43 innings but he was opening for some of that and was clearly out of his depth. His Test record is better at 34.61 after 22 test innings with two tons and three fifties but his glove work was fading and he didn't seem to have any answers at that time. I can...

I get your position i just don't agree. I think Wade has been playing well this year and you are remembering the really bad patch he had before Haddin returned to the National team. I still think he is the player for the future unless someone really steps up.

Top Five Test Captains Right Now

Pretty tough for Smith. He was always a couple of good seasons off being ready but i think with injuries and our bowling consistency problems (other than Johnson) he has done very well. 1 win and two draws from his 3 tests. Both draws could have been wins but a determined India showed some...

Very surprised about Haddin. Quite bluntly his form with bat has been so ordinary it is enough to cost the team a shot at the title. Feels like a swan song gift.

India In Australia & One-day Tri Series (aus, Eng, Ind) 14/15

Fair is fair and Australia has really lost their way in this series with dropped catches. This should have been over had we held them in the first innings but the thing that has stood out to me this series is that the Umpires cannot make an LBW decision anymore. No DRS has equated to scared...

India In Australia & One-day Tri Series (aus, Eng, Ind) 14/15

Be sure he has only held back on one Captain since he started commentating in 1977 and that was Clive Lloyd. But then the Big Cat was an amazing sight.

India In Australia & One-day Tri Series (aus, Eng, Ind) 14/15

WOW, three weeks away on holidays with the kids and the cricket world has changed. Smith has taken over and put the foot down in a big way. I imagine the selectors and CA will let Clarke have the job back if he gets fit but this only strengthens the team. I see Smith at three by the first test...

    Martin Crowe

He will be a great loss for NZ cricket. He was an amazing bat, remember him hurting the Aussies in Brisbane many years ago and too an amazing catch to get rid of Border. Will be missed.

India In Australia & One-day Tri Series (aus, Eng, Ind) 14/15

They have played really well for all but a couple of key sessions. The talk was they would get destroyed but i see a team that is not far off a win here. Comparatively, in India we were diabolical. Our batsmen were not beaten by the variation of pitch, they were simply all at sea and looked like...

good move. clearly looking to the future now. Funny, there is talk about Haddin but i find it strange. His batting might be in poor touch but he is there to keep wicket and is showing a good set of gloves ATM. I would think Haddin is there till the end of next summer when he gets to retire a...

Marsh will probably be ok but has always been fragile. There is a need to take some action as we only have a couple more tests then it is the Ashes. We need change at three as Wato is a joke. bowling looks ok at the moment though with some options available.
