Agree the comp has declined in recent years with the loss of clubs such as HT, Rivergum ,Dennis ,Rosebank, Bundoora Park ,West Ivanhoe going to other comps . Long time clubs Preston Footballers and West Heidelberg folded . Darebin , Lalor and Druids moved on because they didnt like penalties...

With the loss of multiple teams due to the defection of HT, Rivergum and Dennis , the clubs wanted something different to keep players interested . This plan is very different and hopefully attracts some new clubs in the future .

Doesnt sound right ---6 teams in each grade so only 5 one dayers for the season . More likely a mix of one dayers and T20 to start season in view of past indifferent weather in October

No NMCA clubs as they announced previosly that they are having their own T20s as part of the fixture for the top three grades ( at least )

2 day finals . Hearing 2 day matches 6--10 points . 1 day matches 6 points. T20 will be 3 or 4 points . The clubs asked for something different to help maintain clubs and players . This is a very intersting concept with no Sunday matches apart from finals

need one more as we only had 7 in A grade ( N Socials out mid sesaon ) . Maybe Cobras could stay up with Rivergum and HT gone .

Confirmed . Positive NMCA AGM last night ---three new Board members and seems like two vice presidents to run the show similar to DVCA model

The DVCA boundaries must be wide spread ----taking on a team based in Nothcote ???

Pity Bramich never went back to his junior club,Plenty United . They merged to become Donath CC now back in the NMCA first grade

There is a survey coming out end of April to canvas ideas such as eatrlier starting times , possible T20 grade, shortened matches for lower grades etc All to do with keeping players and attracting more

Time to cut the crap and abuse. Camrea hve copped heaps and dished out just as much in return . Its a closed book now . Lets move forward and say positive things about our comp.
