Australia made a big mistake bringing in jon holland somebody like adam zampa would have been great in these spinning conditions, he would spin the ball and would be a massive weapon on day 3 and 4 in a test match in Sri Lanka where the pitch really starts to crumble up
Well we will see but it's going to be a tough game and I expect Australia to give it all because a whitewash would be embarrassing for the no.1 team in the world, if you know what I mean
The 3rd test will be challenging because the SSC doesn't spin as much as galle or kandy, it is known for its friendly batting conditions offering something for the fast bowlers but it all depends on the pitch on the day
Not convinced which direction Sri Lanka cricket is going at this stage, England outplayed Sri Lanka in the tests and totally dominated. The only positive is that at least we are giving the younger generation a chance to shine.
yes I get that but the only reason drs ain't available in t20 format is because india doesn't want it but luckily for us the t20 world cup will have the drs system.
Finally some cricket for sri lanka after the world cup but also these next few test matches are the last time we would se sangakara play so I have to watch :)
