ODI is better. 20/20 tends to get dull very quickly. Would like to see something like a forced 5 over powerplay to be taken in the last 20 overs of ODIs to spice it up a bit though. It's boring boring that they almost always use them up straight away.
After initial doubts, I now really like 20/20. It's entertaining to watch over a short period of time and can determine what future cricket has in general. But ODIs is my preference, as I watched it as a child and grown up just before 20/20 took off outside of England and in Australia in general. More tactical and generally you would have to use more of your talents to succeed.
Just like when the 50-over game was intorduced and took the world of cricket by storm, let's hope the doubters about the future of our sport with 20/20 coming in are proven wrong. Fingers crossed.
I enjoy both forms of the game. However I find that most 20/20's are far more more entertaining than 50 over games when one side is weaker than an other. With Australian dominance over this form of the game through out the the last decade I've got to say that watching cricketers adapt to this new style is refreshing and far more interesting than predictable outcomes.
