2007 Twenty20 World Championship in South Africa
As many of you will be aware we are on the cusp of an exciting new era with the inaugural 2007 Twenty20 World Championships, which will be held in South Africa.
According to the bookmakers Australia will once again enter a tournamentus on the world stage as favourites, with South Africa a close second. On this occasion though England will surely have an edge due to the game originating in these fair shores and the amount of matches our players have been exposed to?
Unsurprisingly, Scotland bring up the rear but in this type of game you'd fancy an upset along the way with the usual suspects of Pakistan, Zimbabwe and India looking vulnerable.
The full fixture list runs as follows:
11th September: South Africa v West Indies (including opening ceremony) at Johannesburg
12th September: Australia v Zimbabwe at Cape Town
12th September: New Zealand v Kenya at Durban
12th September: Pakistan v Scotland at Durban
