How do you see eltham going tongs?
It`s been a rough patch since Xmas Tongs. Their attack is pedestrian at best and they rely on 2 batsmen to get a score. This will be a very tough game for both sides. Eltham beat them earlier in the year when they were flying. But then Lower Plenty got them back later in the year when Eltham went through a rough patch. They've generally had pretty good contests the last couple of years.

Can't really take a lot out of the last couple of results as they were 1dayers how's Gts hammy?
That's funnyNo different to you relying on Meekins with Bat and Ball.
Home and Away season over, anyone wanna have a crack at Team of the Year?
Rumour has it he wont be playing this week eitherI'm tipping the highest paid player won't be getting a gig
Two good games coming up here.plenty to just beat Heidelberg after a scare. lower plenty to beat Eltham easily.
plenty to beat lower after they choke.

Have Monty got under the radar by just sneaking in to the four after Lalor Stars capitualation?? The only meeting between Monty and Plenty resulted in an easy win to Monty, even though back in round 4. I just have a feeling that Monty will prevail again and get themselves into a G/F.
Lower Plenty v Eltham, two games this season both at Lower Plenty, Eltham had a one day win in round 2, LP a win in round 9. Eltham's form in two day games seems better than LP so think Eltham will do the job.
And seriously guys, how can a guy have a hamstring problem after playing the last round and bowling 25 overs and making 22 the following week.
I must add, regardless of who makes the G/F, to be played at Mernda.....really????
That makes absolutely no sense at all.
Plenty were blessed to have the very dangerous Lalor capitulate, and now come up against Monty. I can't see Mont having the bowling attack to win a final. And therefore I see Mitch and Gordie getting plenty of runs at home. Too many for Mont to chase down.
Watch For: Sam Noble to somehow make headlines...
Lower Plenty and Eltham have both been there abouts the last few years and I'll tip the winner of this game to win the flag. Lower Plenty in most areas seem to have Eltham covered, and whilst neither side are One Man Bands, I see this game very much Henkel v Turner. I'll take Turner.
Watch for: Turner to get a big hundred.
You've done well to back Eltham there after admitting LP are favourites. Whats the mail on Noble?
I'll back GT to get a 5fa over a big hundred. He's only past the magic mark 4-5 times in 16 seasons and I think with the way his hand is, it's beyond him now. I think Eltham will take a 50 from him.Plenty were blessed to have the very dangerous Lalor capitulate, and now come up against Monty. I can't see Mont having the bowling attack to win a final. Assuming you're one of the people that saw it what sort of impact do you think he can have? surely would be easier for him to bat than bowl if its at the point of needing a runnerIt's going to be hard for Turner to get a hundred given that he will be going into the game with a pre-existing injury which will preclude him from getting a runner. There were lots of people who saw him re injure his leg/hamstring before going out last week, something that I'm sure will be brought up with the umpires before the game. Hiding injured players in the field is never ideal in a final either.
