Hopefully we get the match underway tonight.

Nothing else to do here, it's too hot to go to cricket tonight and I cant be bothered going to do anything else really.

The rule is something like, if it's forecast to be over 38 and it's a certain temperature by 11am, the entire competition gets called off.

They've called the juniors for tomorrow night off.

I don't understand why we don't just have a drinks break every 10 overs, rather than every 20.

Nah because Victorian cricket is of a standard far better than the cricket in WA it is more strenuous on the players hence their being rules in place to prevent heat related injuries etc.

Only problem I have with the heat is the sun that comes with it, I burn, real bad.

I did also, but a mate showed me how to put zinc over my whole face without looking too ridiculous.

I burn heaps, but I just pack the sunscreen on. Doesn't really worry me what I look like, I just don't want to get burnt.

I do open the bowling, but I wipe my hands before I go out on the park.

Sunscreen helps the ball swing too @|
