Just shows that if they had applied themselves a little better, e.g. in the Chandigarh match and not been so careless they could've made this series a much closer contest.

Meaningless match, an ICC specialty. Bandis didn't bother to show up for this one.
When Punter was at the crease he was only thinking of when the next WWF
tagteam match would be on. Symo was only thinking of that big cold one
after the match. And so the Jurassic age continues for cricket. ICC
should adopt Fred Flintstone as its logo.

I find this trouble with Andrew Symonds incomprehensible. It makes no sense at all, and if it's true,

I'm sorry to hear that. BCCI needs to come out and take some action about this. Whether they can track down the idiots in the crowd, I don't know. But BCCI needs to make an official statement condemning this, urgently.

Given that West Indies cricket team had been a huge fan favorite in India for years (specifically in Mumbai where I personally became a fan of their team back in 1970s), I find this trouble with Andrew Symonds incomprehensible. It makes no sense at all, and if it's true, I strongly condemn it. How can Andrew Symonds become targets of racist abuse with a crowd which used to idolize Malcolm Marshall, Viv Richards and Joel Garner? Maybe times have changed for the worse. Or I wonder if their problem is specifically against Symonds as a person, not his race?

In this series the crowd had been doing this to Andrew Symonds nearly all the time whenever he was out in the field or even batting. There have been a few idiots around who are badsports. It was definately against his race.
