Ok look at chanderpaul from the west indies, he has got the same stance as you and it doesn't look good.phil2oo8;287834 said:I'm on the open stance side... I found i was feelin cramped to left handers when in normal stance and i could only feather the ball to mid-off.... so i tried to just make it seem he was a righthander by opening my stance slightly....
I also tried gettin people to bowl around wicket to me but alot ends up bein down leg or the bowlers all of a sudden think they are allan donald and try aim at me.
Only advice is to get one of the left arm bowlers in the nets with you so that you can get used to the ball.Sumo Boy;286851 said:I have trouble playing the left handers and i do open my stance up go any suggestions?

Try going back to the normal stance and practice different shots other than knicking the ball and getting out. Try middling it and use a different bat. Sounds like the bat might be your problem there. You don't want it to be too heavy hence making you knick the ball and getting out.
