Trinity won, not sure by how much but Meadows got 116, Nitsopolous got 70 and Keys got 50.

Assumption 8/171 defeated Mentone 9/170

amazing knock of 85 from tallan wright in his 50th game got ack home. now very well set for a crack at the title with a stronger batting line up in the 2nd half of the season.

yeah ivanhoe lost to yarra yesterday
bowlers did quite well managed to bowl yarra for 128 j birch was the stand out with gualano.
but the batting was terrible, no one stood up and ivanhoe were all out for 83.
very dissapointing loss, the ivanhoe boys are pretty suprised that they find themselves at 0-2 with a decent team, unfortunetly ivanhoe have not played well enough for all thats been said.

Agreed with that mc09. talk is cheap boys get to training and maybe back it up with some actions.
As for nitsopolous making runs its not a big surprise he is a quality player.
Who is meadows though? havent heard much about him.

Now Now toddles we have to play some good teams next season, The boys from kilmore will be up there with evans and wright. Peninsula have a good opening bowler! Trinity have a young gun who batted at 4. Timmy Lincoln will go around too!

stefan burnell, had a slow start against marcillin in rd 1 and then yarra in rd 2
but starred against camberwell on saturday picking up 4 for not many off 11,
believe that this side is a serious contender as they are 3 from 3 at the moment,
marsters, clements, burnell, wood and savio seem to be the players holding the team up, good signs ahead for the penna boys
keep eyes on burnell in the bowling and marsters and savio leading the runs for the team, both with very solid performances with 84 and 90 respectively against a medioca camberwell attack

yeah i would say ivanhoe have a decent side, they are yet to get going, its just a matter of winning that one game to boost the confidence of the youngsters and remind the senior players what it feels like to win. As was said before for some of the senior players at ivanhoe, these are their first agsv losses also, they have dominated in the past but need to step up now to get that first win under the belt.
8 matches doesnt help either.

ivanhoe looked good last year although peninsula nearly had them in the bag 2nd last rd of the year when new comer savio made a good nearly match saving knock. guilanno the gun
took 6fa and made a ton
