weeks a long time in cricket, but the Ivanhoe boys on the way up! wasent a bat effort, even though camberwell were not much, still a convincing win never the less after a tough few weeks.

Peninsula beat Trinity..not sure what the scores were cause i had to leave early...

i did face lincoln, look his good
but i did get costa out, he does play rash shots, but hits it hard!

Peninsula 5/239 beat trinity all out for 204
peninsula batting - clements 53, elmi, 62, egan, 64, and kellerman 20 off not out

Peninsula bowling, burnell, playing with this kid for many years, and his bowling better than ever, took 3 on the weekend, including the prized sculps of meadows and brown, both bowled!
Woods again in the action with 3
maccauley with 2 for not many, starting to land his spin nicely
Savio got 1, bowled well after expensive first 2 overs
clements with the ball, bowled tight as usual with 1

Trinity batting is their key, with brown, meadows and nitsoppolous all capable of making 100s as we have seen, yet again trinity very dangerous,
bowling wise, very weak, have a left armer bowls good lines, but with no backing, not much pace from the quicker bowlers, i think thats the down fall

Yes i must agree slogger, trinity looked as though they could do some damage early on, but a great opening spell from burnell made sure it didnt happen. nitsopolous batted well to get 86 but none of his mates were able to stick around. for peninsula, elmi hit form to get a quickfire 60odd and they look as though they will give the premiership a real crack at this stage of the season.

wtf has ivanhoe done that is so good

bunch off beat offs

and if u rekn the opening bowler from ivanhoe is better then wright from ack and burnell from pen then u must be high

trained with the bloke from ivanhoe and wright in vic squad i think ivanhoe bloke got the arse pretty early

win a few games on the trot ivanhoe n then start talking

you must not follow your cricket well having a go at the ivanhoe opener having played with all 3 pace bowlers burnell, wright and moio they are all different. No need to have personal digs at players.

Mate how did u not include lincoln in this group.
wright couldnt make runs against concord or take wickets for that matter.
ACK are a bunch of **************s, think they are the shizznit, looking forward to seeing them cop a beatdown against us(the mighty hoe).
Moio is better and keepers are shit, they all end up getting fat cos all they do is sit down all day.

just noticed the two boys who got runs for peninsula against camberwell

marsters 84 and savio 90 didnt feature amongst the runs with 3 other blokes getting 50's against trinity

looks like they have an underated batting side slipping under the radar

Thats right rg123. Peninsulas batting goes right down to number 10...with number 10 being a year 8 whos already made 2 tons in his career. Our numbers 7-10 have only batted about once this season..Peninsula seem to be the ones to beat.

Everyone of the top 6 for peninsula have gotten 50s this year, with 3 against Camberwell and 3 against Trinity. Making 305 and 239 in the past 2 weeks, Peninsula look a very strong team

also to mention against camberwell being only 5 down for 305
and 5 down again against trinity, it looks a side that doesnt rely on the big names to make big scores
unlike your assumptions(wright) and trinity(meadows, nitsopolous and brown)
also to add, trinitys batting other than them is very ordinary, no depth which showed to be a key in their downfall!

Josh Green from mentone would be up there. plays district 2s with prahan when no tied up with school commitments. already amongst the runs this year. smart cricketer.
