mate u must b joking.. peninsula string together i few good games lol peninsula never r and never will b nething special.. always hav a few good players but neva a good enuff team to beat the top sides... will not match assumption and sum ppl must b failing to realise jst how good acks side is this yr with so many of last yrs undeafeated premiers side still there.. and u cant comment on depth if all ur gonna quote is 6 batsmen.

there is no doubt that peninsula has the best depth
that ive seen
i havnt seen ack
but i dont think they have any1 other then wright
most teams bat till about 6
in camberwells case till 3
and most have 1 or 2 good bowlers
in camberwells case 0
where peninsula bat till 10
and have 5 genuine good bowlers
and yes the best keeper in the legue
looking forward to see ack vs pen
will be a ripping game and a premiership game by the looks of it

If district cricket requires you to be good then there would be barely good players in the agsv.
Mentone ur clearly having a laugh, peninsular are a good team from what i faced in the first match this season.
go back to mentone and win some games before u start ragging on one of the better sides.

yeh who said there are that many good players in the agsv. so far from what ive seen the teams we played apart from tallen wright most guys have been absolute spuds.
Keep in mind Mentone havent had a full squad so far this season and there opening bowler is coming off a back injury so the break will freshen up the Mentone squad.

6 blokes, all have more than 100 runs this season, including a 50, the top 2 over 150!

nah mate im actually just coming back from an injury myself so i havent had the opportunity yet to do anything special. but i was happy with a bowling average last year of 12 wen i was in year 10. cheers mate

brown from trinity
tracy from peninsula
and a bloke from ivanhoe was in there for a bit

jeez i duno whats going on down at the victoria squad but brown made a duck against us this year getting out to a bowler who plays just club cricket. wright i accept is a gun as i said in my earlier post. mentones opening bowler went to vic 17 trials when he was 15 and a couple of guys from mentone have been asked to bowl to the victorian 11 later this season so where not travelling to badly mate.

that just means the vic 11 are running low on confidence so they get mentone guys to bowl to them for a confidence booster

]so because ur missing 2 blokes, u lost the game..thats why a team like peninsula is dominating. every player has a part to play and is showing other teams that players that play as a team will continue to win games..as peninsula are doing right now. unlike mentone who are relying on these 2 'superstars' to win games for them....

ah well point taken mate but when these 2 guys are in our team we have been playing alot better so as long as we have them we're playing well so i dont mind coz there back and almost fully fit and firing now
