yeh who said there are that many good players in the agsv. so far from what ive seen the teams we played apart from tallen wright most guys have been absolute spuds.
Keep in mind Mentone havent had a full squad so far this season and there opening bowler is coming off a back injury so the break will freshen up the Mentone squad.

Just because people choose to head out on the turps instead of playing bullshit district cricket where its like more serious than at international level doesnt make them bad cricketers!
it makes them normal good people as far as i am concerned.
Your a goose mate, stick to ur district cricket (if u even play it) and the rest of us will stick to having a good time and a social life!
p.s i hope u can play because ur hanging it on peninsular when clearly they and ack are the form sides!

Re: Agsv

Re: Agsv

Stop bagging each other n talk cricket

the best players ive seen so far

Bat: Nitsapopoulas (trinity)

Pace bowler: Burnell (peninsular)

Spin bowler: left armer from marcelin

All Rounder: Wright (assumption)

Wicketkeeper: Tracy (peninsular)

thoughts?

Re: Agsv

Also best grounds etc

Best ground/Pitch: Camberwell

Worst ground/Pitch: Peninsular

Best lunch: Camberwells parma's are good but no seconds
Peninsulars theres always plenty there and good scollap potatoes

Worst lunch: Last year at assumption travel all day and have a friken toasted sandwich the worst

Your thoughts?

truth is, peninsulas rd 2 clash against yarra valley pulled out thebest pitch the school has seen in several seasons
but the rd 4 clash against trinity, very low deck, crumbled late, but still didnt move alot.

mate there is no denying peninsula has the worst pitch
and has for years
always good for bowlers
doesnt compare to camberwell mentone trinity marcilen etc.
peninsula has one of best teams with worst ground
and camberwell has the worst team and best ground

big head, im just saying mate
but na, sorry i still think ivanhoe have the best ground
elec scoreboard, just the prestigeous school in the backdrop
and a decent ground and pitch!

Re: Agsv

worst lunch is definetly yarras, absolutely discrasefull
anyone playing there this year i recomend u get takeaway on the way there
as for the best ground marcelin and trinity for the best outfields
ivanhoes pitch is good because it offers something for everyone, and a great ground aswell.

Re: Agsv

Lads a fair bit of rubbish is being spoken on this thread.

Not every player in the AGSV plays Vic Cricket nor district.

This thread is to put up final scores, players who are in form and the players to watch.
