Lads a fair bit of rubbish is being spoken on this thread.

Not every player in the AGSV plays Vic Cricket nor district.

This thread is to put up final scores, players who are in form and the players to watch.

And to discuss the most important part of the day, Lunch. :p

Yarra Valleys definitely the worst IMO.

Trinity, Assumption and Marcellin best three grounds.

i am very surpirsed mentones ground inst rated in the top 3. have been lucky enough to play at both mentone and trinity this year and mentone takes my pick. Good pitch and grass is like carpet. many side playing here will be surprised with he condidtion of the ground. simply awesome!

the best players ive seen so far

Bat: Nitsapopoulas (trinity)

Pace bowler: Burnell (peninsular)

Spin bowler: left armer from marcelin

All Rounder: Wright (assumption)

Wicketkeeper: Tracy (peninsular)

thoughts?
hmm I reckon Gualano?
not a bad allrounder First player in AGSV since 1975 to make a 100 and take 5 wickets in one match.

Re: Agsv

tonned up 2 games ago! looks good, same with brown, but nitsopolous' technique isnt the best, although has a good cricketing brain, runs well inbetween the sticks and hits hard!

Re: Agsv

does he come in at around no 4 and have an awkard stance? if so i do remember him. cant play a short ball if im correct with who i think he is.

20/20 this w/e. whos in what pools and what schools are hosting?
should be a good weekend. good luck to all....

Re: Agsv

Batsmen: gualano is the stand out bat in the competition. wright, brown, nitspolous, anderson, evans can all bat.

Quick Bowler: lincoln is the best quick i reckon, burnell was good when i saw him last year, t wright is also good...

Spin Bowler: Gualano from ivan, sundberg from marc, budge from yarra

Alrounder: tallan probably the best alrounder, but gualano would be up there too with his spinners

best keeper: no stand outs....probably brown number one.

Yes, he bats at 4.

Re: Agsv

Budge from yarra bowls at least two full tossers an over...cannot be put in the same category as Gualano and Sundberg..

yeh have to agree with MC09
didnt impress as much, also sorry MC i know his ya teamate, but sundberg! hrmmm, his good, but not as affective, although he did get me outwhen i tried to hit it to bloody ivanhoe down the road aha
but gualano looks the best a;lrounder from what ive seen, made a ton, and 6wickets last year against peninsula, but havnt seen wright so cant go to assumptions as of yet.
