Im starting to feel that the game Assumption v Peninsula will have a lot more meaning to it then once felt a few weeks ago. The hype on big cricket is immensley increasing whilst top spot is up for grabs...All i have to say is good luck to both teams and may the best team win!!

least that may keep the critics quiet of peninsulas ability tonot being able to have an agsv century maker

i heard from someone that the assumption
cricket team are such a close bunch

so close infact they all sleep in the same bed at the boarding house
and not only do they milk cows but infact they milk each other

i guess living at school in what ever state its in has its negatives

i now get that the depth u were tlkn about for assumption is actually a different type of batting

Assumption v Peninsula

Biggest game of the year, any early bids who is going to win this match.

Peninsula with there top 6 batsmen already knotching up 100+ runs for the season inc at least one fifty. 3 bowlers with 8 wickets and the best keeper in the comp.

Tough team to beat, anyone got Assumption stats etc.?

There is a lot to play for in this one, the title...perhaps and bragging rights via this forum.

Both peninsula and assumption have to win this one, but who will it be???

wouldnt put it past tal wen he gets to yr 12.....

and im prettty sure id kno it in front of u.. but sheahan was bowled out for next to nothing in 2 agsv games last yr.. and in another he got a 50.. so that means sum1 else made the runs...

mate im telling u assumtpion is alot different than the other sides where a bit of team spirit is shown.. look at the footy side they wernt the best in the agsv but they won it.. once again the quote a team of champions doesnt beat a champion team and generally most of the trinitys, peninsulas, and marcellins all just hav selfish players who want to get their name out there..

im not sayin peninsula r not a team of champions because i havnt seen them play yet but i think ull see them come unstuck at assumption.. and we'll probly hear big excuses lyk the travel weve all heard that one b4 mate..


so to the peninsula boys out there.. did ne of ur big names this yr make runs in previous yrs at agsv level??? or hav they just improved out of the blue and become awsome players we talk about on big cricket in yr 12

afew of us already had agsv 50s to our name before the start of the season
last year we relied on 2 batsmen to make our runs, and thats where we came un stuck
this year,we are more mature, all top age players now, well most of our team is and we are confident in our own abilitys
several players in our team are capable of making big 50s and even get to the 100, but i still believe depth is peninsulas key atm
and also, we will be seeing you assumptions boys on our turf, so we will be hearng the excuses about the travel the pitch etc.

well to b honest i dunno wot all the hype about peninsulas pitch is about.. i thought it was not to bad.. i woulda said ours is by far the worst up at assumption and fortunately we have a nice green ground certainly something peninsula is missing...

u cant say any1 is capable of getting 100 in agsv cricket unless they hav 1.. seen many sides at assumption hav great captains who could never seem to get that 100 up.. seen a few gun boys play local cricket who played at pegs who couldnt get a ton there eitha.. its a different atmosphere so dont go raving about players being able to get it till they prove it so i believe that assumption is still 3 up on u boys

wont have to worry about the shit ground at peninsula anymroe, getting redone and is apparently going to be a ripper.

The pitch...though, will still have its pros and cons
