afew of us already had agsv 50s to our name before the start of the season
last year we relied on 2 batsmen to make our runs, and thats where we came un stuck
this year,we are more mature, all top age players now, well most of our team is and we are confident in our own abilitys
several players in our team are capable of making big 50s and even get to the 100, but i still believe depth is peninsulas key atm
and also, we will be seeing you assumptions boys on our turf, so we will be hearng the excuses about the travel the pitch etc.

Not to mention the guys you bought in on scholarships.

and up there with the most premierships in the agsv for cricket however there has not been a single schloarship given

mentone playing yarra and ivanhoe at mentone. have a played a few games of district but coming back from injury not at the moment.

i think also peninsula, trinity and marcelin are in another pool.

should be a fun weekend of cricket

Assumption v Peninsula

Biggest game of the year, any early bids who is going to win this match.

Peninsula with there top 6 batsmen already knotching up 100+ runs for the season inc at least one fifty. 3 bowlers with 8 wickets and the best keeper in the comp.

Tough team to beat, anyone got Assumption stats etc.?

There is a lot to play for in this one, the title...perhaps and bragging rights via this forum.

Both peninsula and assumption have to win this one, but who will it be???

there will obviously be alot of hype around this game till its played but at the moment its to even for mine.

are assumption getting any players over christmas and if so does anyone know who they are or what they do( bowl/bat quick/spin)

New people to the school? I find it very hard to believe that you are aware these people will make your First XI, yet they're not on scholarships.

not sure exactly
not many kids have come into the school on either football or cricket scholarships in the last few years, normally general excellence or other sports the school thrives at!
