Smith gets 100 before getting out, Marsh finally falls for 148, great innings. 7 for 356 hopefully they can still get 400, Australia in a good position.

Wow.. What a spell of fast bowling, Mitchell Johnson is absolutely on fire, has 3 for 5. South Africa 3 for 23.

The 2 gun bats for SA in now, Amla and AB.

I don't have the time to answer the posters who have quoted me. But I assure you that, when I have the time, I will. I just came on to say this, Mitchell Johnson must be stopped! I had enough of this. There has to be a way. By nature, with every strength, there is a weakness that can undo a "Goliath".

3 wickets already? **** off! :mad::rolleyes:

lol at the Chinese girl at the Olympics doing a Bradbury :D

Perfect time difference to watch this game as a West Aussie, 5 in the arvo until midnight. Oh they have to refer this it looks very close unless Amla hit it!

Best fast bowler in the world atm, amazing considering from where he's come from, probably wouldn't have even got a look in if it wasn't for injuries.

Sure it's been on work days but the crowd turn out has still been pretty poor for the 2 best Test teams in the world.

So SA all out for 206 still trailing by 191, DeVilliers top scoring with 91 really deserved a century the way he batted. Hopefully Australia can now bat them out of the game in their 2nd innings.

Can't help but support Aussies in this test, its just nice to watch first Johnson and now Warner tearing into some other team for a change. Great attacking cricket.

Wheels falling off a bit here for SA with Australia 283 in front with only one day, some poor fielding and 3 lives to Warner. Petersen's bowling is also pretty rubbish.

Warner good innings going past a 100 although he's had some luck, a Doolan ton as well would really rub it in. Pitch starting to play a few tricks I guess something like a lead of 500 will be what they are looking for. Only some bad weather could save SA now.

Set up to put the team in a dominant position for this match now, I bet Graeme Smith is regretting putting Australia in now. Some of SA's body language also pretty poor out there once these 2 started to get going.
regret is probably an under statement. Good start to the last innings for Johnson with two wickets. Amla and A B at the wicket, they are the key to the win for Australia.

Strong win overnoght by Australia. Johnson again taking 5 and 12 for the match. It wil be interesting to see what SA can do about Johnson in the next test.

Johnson is in some form, don't think many would have predicted the way he has come out and completed destroyed England and now South Africa in six tests. He's now taken 49 wickets from his last six games and his career bowling average has dropped by about 2.50 runs. Amazing stuff.

Great to see Marsh come out and show us what he is capable of as well, I hope he can keep it going now as when he is at his best he is a very, very good player.

Dare I say it, but South Africa are really missing Kallis already. Have a feeling that South Africa are going to go through a period of trying to find the next Jacques Kallis, similar to what Australia did when they tried to find the next Shane Warne after he retired.

Looks like Watson won't play in the second test either as his calf isn't 100% right although he has commenced batting and some running. Won't be considered until he is able to bowl given the form of Marsh and Doolan.

Well i as one trashed Johnson's selection. All i could see was here we go again. i will gladly eat my words, he seems to have found whatever it was that was missing. I am in Aw of his performance. Lets hope more players can also find it, like Marsh, hope to see him continue his form.
