the 2nd new ball is due and with fresh bowlers we should be able to snag a couple quickly, its a 5th day pitch with a couple starting to go through the top and a few keeping low so i wouldnt worry to much. i wouldve batted for an extra hour yesterday and put on another 60-80 runs so i couldve been more attacking in my field placings especially with only 3 specialist bowlers (2 of them with niggles) and no specialist spinner, and in hot conditions. if lightning does strike twice and we manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory "again" i think serious questions have to leveled at pontings captaincy. hes made a lot of mistakes in this game in my opinion, not to mention the Australian series.
