Australia v Zimbabwe Match Thread

Starts at 5pm (UK time).

Should be an easy victory for the Australians and to be honest I can't see any other outcome.

Could this be an upset? Australia struggling somewhat at 76 off almost 13 overs.

Nice to see Taibu having a bowl!

It's turning out to be a very interesting match. Zimbabwe has a realistic chance.

Rain has stopped play. Australia are ahead by D/L so they wouldn't mind if it keeps raining. Even if they do come back I think Zimbabwe won't make it.

We have not even played cricket for 5 months, we have few injuries too . That rain screwed us but Zimbabwe played exceptional, no doubt about that . I dont even count this bloody 20/20 a cricket . This is a total bullhsit . Players come and bang bang for 20 overs, this is not a cricket . We are still chmaps in real cricket and we have also a match against England left . Even we get out of this 20/20 in this stage then also not abig deal for us . We have more important games coming up at the end of the year. Zimbabwe played superb but we are still champs .

I didn't think Zimbabwe would make it in the end. I thought they would crumble under pressure. But full credit to Taylor, he kept well and was brilliant with the bat.

We wouldn't have imagined Zimbabwe pulling off a win here. But Australians were a bit rusty and Zimbabwe played well.

We played so shit. We fielded poorly. We batted poorly. We bowled poorly.

Clark should have dove for that ball at short fine leg. Why didn't Johnson appeal for that run out when it would have been given out.

We played terrible.

Kudos to Zimbabwe. They have heart, and they didn't give up. And it showed on the final result. They fielded terrificly and really troubled us.

Now I'm just boned and I gotta go to school in half an hour. :(

I'm really disappointed. We lost to Zimbabwe they played well but with all due respect we shouldnt be losing to a team like Zimbabwe.
