LIZ- thats exactly wat my phsio told me
i have to stretch my hamstrings for 15 minutes every day
she talked about the core
and she said maybe ur technique needs to be changed
im working on hamstrings at the moment
she said to concerntrate on core a little later on and look at the technique a lot further down the path
ill get a really good cricket coach to look at it wen grade cricket cums around

Virender, did you fall over at all during training? If not, it does sound like a pulled muscle. The only thing to do is ice it to reduce/prevent any inflammation and rest. If the pain is bad, ibuprofen [I should get commission from the drug company :laugh:] The yoga exercises and the ones Leo has been doing are great:

1) Lay on back clasp hands around knees and pull towards chest
2)Lay on back arms out by sides and move the knees to each side while upper body is flat on floor

Before you train again, heat the area, hot water bottle will do it.

That is great kizza. Work on the core now, then if there are any biomechanical malfunctions in the technique, your body will be better able to compensate until you get it sorted.

there not quite sure if it is stress fractures becuz weneva she goes to try and feel my back apparently my muscles have "protective spasms" which make my body like jump??

Hi Liz,

I didn't fall but batted & bowled in the nets as usual but did not train the warm-up routine properly before net session.
So paid a price for that.
I will follow the Rest & Ice schedule and will be updating in couple of days.
Tomorrow I will take a day off to rest.
