It's the off-season so there really isn't much to talk about in terms of games/stats and that sort of stuff. The next couple of months will mostly be talk about player/coach movements and then it will be time for pre-season again. That's the pattern that these forums follow, the off-season tends to be slow-news day so anything will get a mention.
Feel free to explore the other parts of the site though.

If you don't like the content then go elsewhere. As for us being academics whilst I know some of the guys quite well (some pretty smart blokes amongst them too) I don't know who half of the others are. So therefore I am smart enough not to judge their intelligence or lack of based on a couple of posts on a forum.
I would however say that most people are genuine in their interest of Ballarat cricket. You I question. You tout yourself as a premier league player, but surely someone of your experience would know that a cricket forum is not the best way to promote yourself to prospective clubs? So I could deduce that you are neither genuine about your interest, nor smart enough to make contact with clubs through the correct channels.
I could make further assumptions and put you p underscore hunter and yapper underscore 3 in the same category as internet trolls. You may even be the same very bored individual. Time will tell.

I think you may be correct Steve B. Yapper and P_Hunter are the same loser trying to get a bite out of everyone. He got shut down as P_Hunter so then had to create a second alias to gain support from himself.
For the record P_Hunter I bet I have more private messages from Ballarat clubs chasing me than you. After all I did play for Australia, smashed the beer drinking record on the flight to London and have a killer tash.
