And my lips did't even move!!! Part of my criteria is on field but a major portion is off field. They have a huge junior program in an area that surrounding clubs cant make a go of. They have mainly home grown in their sides and promote the kids through the ranks. Well led by HT they have it all covered. They look to the future of their club as well as being competitive on field that is a difficult mix.

That’s a pretty damn good club there.
Only missing the women’s team.
Very interested to see how they perform in the top flight next season. Occa playing or not is going to be a massive factor for them. Awesome to see 4 HDCA clubs back together playing off in Barclay Shield.

Good observation. 2’s lost their D grade grand final in 18/19 but their 3’s won it this year. If the 2’s had of got the job done on the last day then they would have been Barclay, B & C. Not to be. I reckon they would be glad to see it make someone’s blood boil, envious watching them whilst you’re on cricket trip.
I don't want to get into a slagging match with anyone on here, but I've heard about it many times with clubs and individuals over the past couple of years, in all grades from the DVCA.
I’m certainly not envious when I heard they held a full blown medal ceremony and shield presentation after a drawn Grand Final

Rumour is fact that the team that was out for 78 had individual pictures with players having their premiership medals around their necks having their finger pointing upwards inferring they were No. 1.

You’d have to be eating sour grapes if you wouldn’t accept a Premiership Medal after finishing on top of the ladder, rolling a team for 78 being 2/50 and a promotion to Barclay. I wouldn’t be let a technicality stop me from celebrating personally. If that’s the way you feel about Banyule, I’d hate to hear what your thoughts are on the Stars..
Also their other 2 premiership winning teams were not awarded their medals because they had not arrived yet hence the presentation.
Did they pose with the medals and Shield as well? Ehh whatever floats your boat I guess.
