If the majority of those blokes who comment on the DVCA post applied as much energy and enthusiasm to their cricket as they did their Monday night circlejerk on the DVCA social pages they might actually find themselves playing a decent level of cricket.

I note it’s always the average/poor local cricketers who kick up a stink the most about the comp on social media, and it’s always the same blokes. Yes, comp isn’t perfect by any means, but instead of averaging 36 with the ball on a Saturday perhaps some people can contribute to the comp in a meaningful way and help contribute rather than pot from the cheap seats.
The board wouldn’t listen.

They refuse to introduce Barclay and Barclay Reserves Money and Money reserves etc. Barclay team plays home Barclay Reserves plays away. Makes scheduling pretty easy for the top grades.

Then introduce 3rd Grade teams playing 3rd grade teams.

After that, it’s based on performance.

try being a clubs 5ths playing against a clubs 3rds.

From a hack who averages 15 with the ball.

Every time this gets bought up it just makes more and more sense!

Especially when you consider that some main grounds aren’t getting used this weekend because both one’s and two’s are away. We’ve already had our thirds play at our main ground instead of one’s and two’s, plus had both our top sides scheduled at home with the two’s playing at our thirds and fourth’s home base. It’s a complete balls up!

We had our 6ths play on the main oval while our 1st, 2nd and 3rds were away and our 4ths played on the back oval🤷.

Macleod vs Epping the game of the season! Surely they could’ve wheeled out R.Johnson for this last game

Not sure what his commitments are to the Renegades but they are on the road for the next week so thought he might have been available.
Was going to head down there for a gander but probably won't now. No Lynch either. Macleods problem is not getting any runs from the import or brother of Tim. Hurting them considerably . Epping should get the chocolates comfortably in this game.

Lynch is playing. They’ll be fine. Will knock off the pingers imo. I’ll see you down there for a beer

Must have been a late change he wasn't in the side last night.
I might go and watch riverside v rosanna
could be a good game to watch.. see josh money is into the team having been in their 3’s a few games early. will be interesting to see how they respond from getting pumped last week.

I’ll be watching North Eltham v Research. both teams in good form. sure to be a cracker

North eltham not naming a team yet, maybe seeing how a few blokes are after a big work break up. Mind games from a club no one cares about

North Eltham continue to impress.
They have gone under the radar once before and they could very well do it again.
Still a big gap between Epping and Heidelberg but will definitely be interesting to watch over the next few games
